Aloha!

Through this blog I hope to create a connection for those Maui lovers who may be far, far away.

Believe me, I know what it feels like.

I’m originally from Haiku, Maui, one of the most beautiful places on earth!  Here the green rolling hills and vibrant trees are trimmed by a bright blue sky, and the ocean lies off in the distance.  My childhood was spent climbing trees, chasing cows and riding horses, most of the time barefoot.

As an adult I moved to Denver, Colorado, to pursue my education and begin my career. Like many “transplants” to the mainland, my heart always longed for home. In 2010 I came back to Maui, and every day the beauty here provides me with inspiration.

It feels so good to be home.

As an artist my goal is to capture the beauty all around me, and share it with others who may also be missing Maui.  To this end, my pieces create a real sense of “place,” and my prices are “budget-friendly,” to make them affordable for the average art lover. Mahalo for stopping by!
