Two Year Anniversary (and a sale!)

Two years ago this month I launched Mamala O Maui. It’s been wonderful fun.

I’ve enjoyed meeting, learning from and sharing with many other Maui artists.

I’ve had fun helping buyers select something for their home, and visiting buyers after their pieces are in place.

I’ve had sales all over the US, and some of the most rewarding times have been when I’ve been able to send something warm and sunny to a cold snowy place in the middle of winter.

I’ve also had buyers from abroad – Canada and Spain specifically. It’s exciting to know my work has traveled internationally!

And of courses I love making the paintings. Playing with the colors on my canvas and bringing to life the images in my imagination that are reflections of the beauty I see all around me here on Maui.  It’s fun, it’s challenging, it allows me great opportunities for focus and concentration, and the results are rewarding too.

Dedicating 10% of my proceeds to local charities feels good too.

But most of all I have enjoyed the connections my art has allowed me to make, both near and far.

Just for fun I’m celebrating with a little sale.  Save 25% on any item on the Mamala O Maui Etsy site. Just enter the coupon code BDAYSale at checkout.

Mahalo nui loa for your support and for being part of the fun!

  1. Great learning of your work & meeting you at the MauiSMUG meeting earlier this month. Congrats on your anniversary! I moved to Maui on March 12, 2012, so not too far behind your return 🙂 Jennifer
