An Afternoon at Ironwood Ranch

Sounds good to me….

Shania Twain, the warmblood I rode, had a gait as smooth as any country singer’s voice and an appetite for the cane grass that grew along the trail.

It was Ricky’s first time on a horse. I don’t think he ever took his hand off the saddle horn. But he kept smiling!

We rode through old fallow pineapple fields, led by Gina, ranch manager, and accompanied by her dog Romeo. Here we looked out at Lanai in the distance.
